Jadeite Green Opalino Mini Glass Flowers. Small glass flower headpins (glass on wire) in a beautiful green opalino glass. Perfect for the vintage jadeite curio collection!
⭐Flower diameter range from 1/4" - 1/2" diameter on 5" stainless steel 22 gauge wire depending on shape- see photos for reference. Photos show color variations under different lighting; the glass is all the same color shown in the primary photo.
👉 The stainless steel wire is good for tarnish resistance and low-level allergy reaction. The wire is easily cut, or if you need longer wire, one option is to wrap them with floral tape to a longer wire or skewer. Take care manipulating the wire next to the glass.

👉 I make these individually on my torch by heating a color glass rod into a ball between the size of a PEA to peanut M&M on the end of 22-gauge stainless steel wire, then press, squeeze, mush, pinch and pull into the desired shape; they go directly into a temperature-controlled kiln to properly anneal and harden.
👉 Default wire is 5 inch 22 gauge stainless steel wire (good for tarnish resistance and low-level allergy reaction). Wire is easy to cut, or if you need longer wire, one option is to wrap them with floral tape to a longer wire or skewer. Take care manipulating the wire next to the glass.

🏺Vase display: Time to have some fun "junkin' in search for the perfect display vase. Search for mini vases, candle holder, small liquor flutes, etc. I have a small glass bottle that works perfect. Fill with sand, paint, decorate with ribbon, etc.
👉 As with any hand crafted items, irregularities occur naturally as each batch of glass rods vary, as well as each flower which adds to the beauty and character.
😊 I do my best to represent the true size and colors. I photograph them on my studio workbench with LED lights mounted on my ceiling and use my Samsung tablet. I do not manipulate the photo except to crop or reduce the size. So far, the photos seem very true to the product colors, but may vary depending on your device. 😊

Lovely! I bought several glass flowers. Love them all.
These small glass flowers are just darling! They also came well packaged and nicely wrapped (I carefully peeked ;-)). I chose the jade color and they will be gifted to my sister for Christmas. She collects jadeite and has so many pieces that she can place these flowers in. Regarding the length, I chose the 5" so that way she can decided to make them smaller if needed be and simply use wire cutters or bend the wire to her desired length. Many thanks to the artist Sandy Kay. I just may return to buy some for myself!

The shipping box was a little damaged but the cardboard wasn't the strongest. I see why that box was chosen, it was just the right size to ship. Otherwise my flowers are great! They look so good in my shaker, she even threw in a free flower. Thank you! I will be buying more.
