🔥Now, a little bit about me...
I am a 20+ year veteran of a brick-and-mortar stained/art glass studio & bead store. I have years of creating custom stained glass art from suncatchers to panels to large entryway and church windows. I've been working on the torch since 2007 and love working with various shapes and color every day. How can I have a bad day when I make beautiful colorful flowers all day! I believe in providing professional service, quality and attention to detail! I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase - if not, please contact me so I can make it right. Communication is key to success!
🔥 👉 🙏 My story
I grew up on a 350 acre farm in central Iowa (in which my heart never left) and currently live in Sunrise Beach, Missouri (Lake of the Ozarks). I took a class in 1996 for stained glass when my son died – I figured what better way to relieve stress than to break glass! After moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 2000, I formed Missouri Creativity Center, LLC and became a full-time glass artisan.
Visit my Facebook Page for my portfolio links. I’ve been creating stained glass windows & giftware for over 20 years and lampwork/torchwork since 2007. I literally have created thousands of items from small suncatcher gifts and yard décor to large entryways and church windows. It took me almost 15 years of full-time creating to finally consider myself a “glass artist”. The link to my portfolio is on my Facebook page. For torchwork, it varies everyday…..of course approximately 6 hours of flowers, then I usually end my day making somthing that is special or unique like ladybugs or new creating/testing new colors and designs.
Depending on the day, I may turn on the camera and invite you to a watch party or view it on YouTube or Facebook videos at your convenience. I specialize in memorial beads and pendants (the process of incorporating cremation ashes into glass) and feel a special honor and privilege to create something unique for you and your family. Each and every item goes directly from my torch into a kiln (950 degrees) to properly cool and anneal slowly over an 8 hour+ timeframe.
Tips, Techniques & Tutorials: I learn something new everyday and enjoy passing my knowledge (and failures) to others. I constantly add videos & tutorials on Facebook and YouTube for stained glass, torchwork & beads/jewelry, so be sure and like/follow/subscribe to get all my tips, techniques & tutorials!
