Last winter I swore I would never complain about the heat in summer again. I TAKE IT BACK! This has been one of the hottest summers on record and I've been sweltering in the hot studio. I finally decided I would work until it hit 100 degrees, then the torch would be turned off (YES - I have air conditioning in my studio; it just can't keep up with the kiln and torch). Normally here in the midwest we might see 1 or 2 days over 100; this year we've had almost 2 weeks; and continue with a heat advisory for another 5 days straight. Than, maybe, we can start to feel the need for apple cider, chili & football!
Luckily, it has given me some time to do some designing and time with my Bambu 3D printer and xTool lasers. If you haven't noticed, I've began designing and creating some theme-type vase/flower tube holders to make your bouquet even more lovely. I've enjoyed the challenge of learning to design with both these new tools and I have more designs in my mind than time to work on them!
Finally, as we approach the fall & holiday seasons, I look forward to making those special one-of-a-kind gifts for you that can become your new cherished heirlooms.
Thank you again for all your support in the past and future; and I deeply appreciate the recommendations you all continue to share with your friends and co-workers; that means more than you will ever know! Hugs & love! Sandy
